Kali : Kali - Eskrima, or Kali as it is often referred to in the mainstream US is a Filipino Martial Art that includes the use of sticks. It is believed to have originated as a common people's defense against he Spanish conquistadors. The art was introduced to the US during World War II as various US Military Special Forces were stationed in the Philippines and began to learn, practice and apply the art. Both Batman and Jason Bourne used Kali Eskrima fighting style in their films.
