July 2nd - Smugmug homepage<br /> <br /> With absolutely no intentions of being pretentious, I wanted to share some exciting news with my friends. Smugmug recently updated their homepage and chose one of my daily photos which is now in the slideshow.<br /> <br /> *update - since a few have already asked, let me say that I knew about this. They made sure to get my permission before using this. They asked me about a month ago (what was I to say other than; "Yes, by all means!").

July 2nd - Smugmug homepage

With absolutely no intentions of being pretentious, I wanted to share some exciting news with my friends. Smugmug recently updated their homepage and chose one of my daily photos which is now in the slideshow.

*update - since a few have already asked, let me say that I knew about this. They made sure to get my permission before using this. They asked me about a month ago (what was I to say other than; "Yes, by all means!").

  • July 23 - "Take that!" I was slow to post a photo today, because the lighting in the gym last night was rough. I had a lot of nice shots, but a lot of noise and funny colors. This is one of the better color balanced photos from last night. Thank you for your suggestions on my car photos.   • July 22 - Now Showing<br /> Since I am selling my Del Sol, I had to do two things. Get a better photo of the glass top and passenger side and take it for one more summer drive.
  • July 21 - 1994 Honda Del Sol I am planning to sell my 94 Del Sol and have put together this collage for an ad. Since I don't take auto photos very often and since I want to attract buyers, I am open to suggestions on how to improve this.   • July 15th - The Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Memorial<br /> <br /> Engraved on the wall behind me reads:<br /> <br /> "The wicked man flees though no one pursues, but the righteous are as bold as a lion. - Proverbs 28:1"
  • July 13 - Yes I can<br /> I took some fairly decent photos at a basketball camp yesterday, but I loved the expression on the players face in this one.
  • July 9 - The Joni Collage<br /> This is a collage from our adventure to the Riverbanks Zoo in Columbia, SC. It was a wonderful venue to give my niece, Joni some experience behind a DSLR. If the photo is not of Joni, then it was taken by Joni.
  • July 8 - Joni<br /> My niece, Joni and I went on a photo adventure that lasted all day. She learned a little bit and I had fun a lot. I will post a special picture from our adventure tomorrow! *She is my photographer from the photo posted on July 5th.
  • July 7 - Systema Back Alley Brawl<br /> The Systema Russian Martial Art Group practiced against a brick wall last night. How can you bleed and have fun at the same time guys?
  • 07/08 - This photo was actually taken at the July 3 Forrest City Owls game. I have just been playing catch up on other stuff all day.
  • July 5 - 4th of July - Fireworks, grilling out and fun on the lake!<br /> <br /> Spent the 4th of July on Lake Wylie with my sister and her family. This photo of Brenda and me was taken by an aspiring 12yr old photographer, my niece, Joni.
  • July 4 - My Dad.<br /> This is one of those weekends where it is hard to choose only one photo to post for the photo of the day. I spent yesterday morning out on the lake with my dad so this one won over all the rest. Have a great holiday everyone!

I am out of town so I will catch up on my commenting when I get back home tonight. Went to a baseball game with my dad last night and enjoyed the fireworks after the game. I am on my dad's computer now, so this is "SOOTC".
